Cricut Class
I just have to thank all the nice ladies (9 of them!) who attended my Cricut Class in our small town. Each of you made my class a huge success. What started out as a 4 hour class, ended as an 8 hour class! A very special thank you to my dear husband, Gary - none of this is possible without his support - you make it so easy by doing all the moving and lifting!
I'm currently working on ideas for an advanced class for this great group of stampers/scrappers for the fall (they want a regular adult ed class - am I even capable of that?). I had no idea there were so many Cricuteers in my little town.
Again thanks to all my stamping buddies! You are a great bunch, lots of fun, and I'm exhausted!
Good luck to each of you on your Cricut adventures!

Lots of Flowers Card
Thanks so much to Lorraine B. - without the video at her blog http://www.cardcreationsbylorraine.blogspot.com/, I never could have guessed at the cut sizes for all the flowers! This card is entirely from the Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge. My card is slightly different than Lorraine's since I added the flower pots at the bottom and didn't use a bow.
Thanks again Lorraine!

This is the hostess gift I made for all the nice ladies in my SU 10-Club in May. I always try to make something nobody's given as a hostess gift yet and this is what I came up with this year!

Busy, Busy, Busy!
It's been a while since I've posted anything creative because I've been busy with life! Between preparing & filing our taxes, taking on the monthly challenge of creating the local Moose Lodge newsletter, and, the best news of all - I'm teaching a basics Cricut class on the 24th in our little town! I'm pretty excited! So, I really have been busy!
My SU demo asked me to organize a Cricut class and the next thing I knew, I had 12 students and the local school district's adult ed program is paying me to teach! (Who would have thought so many Cricut owners lived here!)
I'm hoping I can teach a rather more advanced class this fall. Another nice friend asked me to teach a scrapbooking class - and my first thought was how do you teach scrapbooking? So, for now, I'm just thinking on these two classes. Besides, I'm just a beginner scrapbooker!
I'm happy the newsletter is coming together, step by step (this is my first month), the taxes are done and filed on time, and the Cricut class prep is almost done.
The above project is about the only thing I've created lately!
So, the next thing I need to complete are my Mother's Day cards!

Sad Day
Yesterday was a sad day in our home - we made the tough decision to put our little Varmint kitty to sleep. She was almost 17 and very ill. Abby girl is already missing her playmate and keeps trying to find her. Varmint will be missed by all of us. A lot of things are different already without tiny Varmint kitty around us.
