Three Flowers

This is a "10 Club" card shared with us by Pam, my local SU Demo.  Her original card is slightly different than the card below - I needed more color!

Flowers in a Row

This is another stamping adult ed card - this time by Pam.  It's time consuming placing all the little flowers and leaves, but I like the results.

The base card is folded on the top instead of the left edge and is a light gray and embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.  The pink cardstock for the flowers and scalloped strip is Pink Pirouette (SU) and the leaves are made using the Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge and Certainly Celery cardstock (SU) and the veins on the leaves were made with a Certainly Celery marker (SU).  The flowers are cut with a punch by EKSuccess.  The pink ribbon has a picot edge and is 1/4" wide (Offray).  I used Perfect Pearls (Ranger) for the flower centers.

I fell in love with the card made by "bigsky" at SCS. I thank her for the inspiration, design, & color combo for this card. I used a different flower set and didn't have the same background DP, so I revamped it for what I did have.

This is a new stamp set ("Springtime") I purchased from CTMH last month and couldn't wait to design a card using the umbrella and cute little chicks. The stamp set also includes a "Happy Easter" sentiment.

Easter Blessings Card

I always try to make a special card for Gary no matter what the occasion (literally, I never make his cards again for anybody else!) and when I saw this stamp set and the "stained glass" instructions in the CTMH Spring 2009 catalog, I just had to figure out an Easter card for Gary because I knew I couldn't wait until Christmas to use this stamp set! It's real simple, you emboss the image in black, watercolor the image, apply liquid glass or crystal effects over the entire surface, let it dry a very long time, and you have stained glass! The "cross" is actually 4 squares from the stamp set arranged to look like a cross.
